 Knowing Your Authority in God. At the name of Jesus, the onslaught of Hell should bow. The mountain should move. The enemy should fail. The dream should come true and the promise should be realized. Every knee of opposition should bow. The name of Jesus is greater and more powerful than any other name in the universe. Jesus didn’t rise empty-handed. Through the conquest of death, Hell and the grave, He has given you His name and seated you with Him in heavenly places. Having won this position of preeminence, He has called you to rule and reign in life, to exercise justice and to punish the disobedience of darkness. The passage of time has not diminished the authority of the Name. It has not worn out with use, nor has God grown tired of providing power. The name of Jesus is for TODAY. It is for TOMORROW. It is for every child of God to freely receive and use. What the Name did for the early Church, it will do in this dispensation. It is not a relic of the past, but it is POWER FOR THIS PRESENT GENERATION.
