And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not
believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In
My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will
take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt
them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Mark 16:15-18

The Purpose of Missions
The purpose of missions is to extend our scope of influence as Christians beyond our
own homes, towns, and even countries. It is the laying down of our dreams and
aspirations in exchange for the passionate cry of God's heart to reach every man,
woman, boy and girl with the message of Jesus Christ.

What is a Missionary?
Regardless of ethnicity, a missionary is a believer in Christ that pursues relationships
that cross all cultural boundaries. He or she forsakes all to transculturally communicate
the truth of Jesus reaching every corner of the Earth. He or she believes that this is the
highest honor afforded man and would pay any price to reach those who have not heard the Gospel, to hasten the return of Christ for His Bride.
